Summer in Spain

Our summer breaks are sacred. We have limited time to relax and we are waiting 3 seasons to reach warmest months in Europe, so… to have really nice vacation is a top priority for me. We’re already too old to go camping and too tired of nasty, dirty and overcrowded beaches here in Bulgaria, so the last couple of years we’re always traveling abroad at least twice during the summer. After more than 10 years in Greece, for our first 2017 summer vacation abroad we choose to check Spanish Mediterranean. I looked all over the offers I was able to find, but all of them were for one and the same location and I didn’t like it at all. Plus the hotels were really awful. After careful consideration, a lot of trip advisers and wonder, we have picked up Santa Susana – small village near Barcelona. It seemed nice and on an hour and half distance from Barcelona where we have never been. So, I was having the opportunity to mix my travel and summer break appetite and have it both at once.  I booked a lovely (pretty expensive) (shame on me) hotel through booking.com and I can tell you something – it was worth it. Danish love

It took me one year to finally reach our 2017 trips. Well, it took me this time mostly because I’m bit lazy and I’m always able to find reason why I’m not doing something instead of actually doing it… but however, let’s go back to Denmark. It was almost Christmas (back in 2016) when I have decided to book a trip to somewhere as a gift for Daniel (I already told you – I’m the best girlfriend ever). I was checking the North and was wondering if we should go to Sweden, Denmark or Norway. It turns out that there is huge aquarium in Copenhagen (National Aquarium Denmark – Den Bla Planet). It was pretty easy to decide where to go after knowing that 🙂  We took early afternoon 3+ hours flight to Copenhagen and landed there thinking we’re most probably going to die from cold as late spring temperatures in whole Scandinavia are up to 13-15 degrees Celsius. Well, not at all. It was like 25 degrees and sun was shining all over that astonishing country.  We caught the metro from the airport to the apartment we rented for couple of Danish crones (public transport in Copenhagen is great!). I have used airbnb once again to book a flat, and once again I didn’t have any troubles with the place and the organization. Having in mind that hotel prices in Copenhagen are absolutely insane, our deal in airbnb was closest to what I can accept as ‘normal’. Let me tell you something about Copenhagen – Read More
