Cooking for dummies

Back in the years behind my back, I was good. I did really great sandwiches and pasta. My mom, God bless her, was trying to make us humans, not chefs, so we grew up reading books, playing and eating sandwiches 🙂 My grandma, on the other hand, was and still is, one of the best master chefs all over the world. She is able to make everything from nothing, and moreover – she is making it delicious. I can smell her dishes miles away and can spot them with my eyes closed. Now I’m trying to steal some of her recipes, but as you can imagine, it’s not the same! And maybe it would never be. However, back in the years, I was trying from time to time with my sandwiches and pasta, and when I became adult it turns out that I’m not as good as I thought. Firstly – you can’t survive on sandwiches and pasta if you want to be healthy and less than 200 kilos. Secondly – you became bored with that. You want more. So, yes, it’s true! I’m really trying to cook. Keyword – trying. What I don’t get with my trying is why my dishes look alike vomit at least 90% of the time and have almost the same taste in the rest 10%? I’m honestly giving my best. I’m almost strictly following the recipes and I always buy good stuff from the market (like ‘happy chickens’ eggs, bio shits, wholemeal flour and so on).
